KDE Direct has added Multi-Rotor Heli motors to their lineup

Oh man that sounds like expensive "Red" splinters Mhh that was my thinking... I bench tested the U7 as well and it lost sync on the Multistar ESC. Can't wait for the KDE ESC's, my guess they are working exactly on the same Problem... Fast response means huge current spikes and potentially loss...

KDE Direct has added Multi-Rotor Heli motors to their lineup

Hi kloner, thanks for giving me some hope :) this is what they do it doesn't happen unless you very rapidly change throttle (from almost 0% to 70-90%) under load (15 inch prop) with 6S The powertrain might never get into that scenario, due to the total cost of the equipment ($10-15k...

KDE Direct has added Multi-Rotor Heli motors to their lineup

Hi, I just received the KDE DIRECT 4014XF 380Kv and they are beautiful motors. The bearings are great and the attention to detail is great. I don't have efficiency numbers yet but I hope they keep up with the promise It's a coax octocopter with 16-17inch tiger props I got a Problem I want...

Who adds capacitors to their power train

Yeah you are right it's the current ripple that you get, that can be an issue. But it's more likely an issue when the esc is working near it's limit. Because then during a peak current moment the voltage drops too low (if the internal resistance of power train is too high) and the esc control...

Who adds capacitors to their power train

I don't think it's too much of an issue, because multicopter esc are usually oversized (10A hovering, 40-60A ESC), so the capacitors are already quite big. Also the ESC's are in parallel, so they smooth each other out in a way. Also multicopter usually use low kv motor which is easier on the...

Aeronavics / Droidworx Droidworx Spring Clearence Sale.....

I've got a pre titanium XM8 and as far as I understand it, it has got titanium screws, different color theme and the vibration dampening is slightly modified. Not a big deal really... But the guys from DW are perfectionists, you'll see when you open the box :)

The best lens to use with a Lumix GH3?

I've used Gh2 and GH3 with 14mm, 20mm and 14-35mm 2.8. I use the GH3 all the time now with a modified zenmuse. I use the 14-35 for groundstuff (can't balance it on a zenmuse), the 20mm is the sharpest but the auto zoom on the 20mm is very slow (if you want to use that). I use 14mm with a...
