I have actually had problems with firmware to board issues, we could get all motors to work while using cleanflight but when using the tx one motor would not spin. we had to switch to open pilot to make everything work correctly.

"c rating" is normally the discharge rate, how much power you can get when you apply the throttle, the higher the number the more power, but they will cost more. The average C rating for most batteries are between 20-30c.

I always like to fly bigger batteries. You probably won't see much of a difference between the two because of weight to watt hour ratios.

Did you buy this Phantom used or brand new? Have you tried contacting your dealer about the problem? They should be able to get you pointed in the right direction.

Thanks olof, that had me stumped for a while. I was trying to adjust from the assistant instead of the tx. Huge help and got me calibrated and flying tonight. Cheers!

Maybe dumb question but I am new to all of this RC stuff. How do I change from failsafe mode to manual mode. I need to be able to put it into calibration mode. Thanks
