    Lightbridge 2 and H3-3d or H4-3d

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know that you can buy a Phantom 4 for the exact same price as a Lightbridge 2. The phantom has lightbridge built in, and obviously provides the copter, battery, charger, camera, etc., too. The cam is GoPro comparable without the fisheye. And...

Product Review ** DJI 1552 Folding Propeller

The DJI adaptors are fine. KDE makes a nice version too. The main thing is confirming one or both will fit your motors.

Product Review ** DJI 1552 Folding Propeller

I don't know for sure, but I really doubt that the prop will flex that much in flight.

2015 NAB News: Blackmagic Micro Cinema Cam, Tiny, Drone-Specific Super16 RAW Camera

I've been back/forth on the micro cinema cam. Obviously there are a ton of options out there that compete, and many in 4K. But, the Blackmagic pocket remains one of my favorite video options, and the convenience of the micro cinema cam for flying is pretty compelling. The battery and card slot...

2015 NAB News: Blackmagic Micro Cinema Cam, Tiny, Drone-Specific Super16 RAW Camera

Yes, as far as I know there has been just one version of the pocket cam.

2015 NAB News: Blackmagic Micro Cinema Cam, Tiny, Drone-Specific Super16 RAW Camera

As of now, the only reason to get the pocket is the screen, and that really only helps if you plan on shooting hand held. If you plan to rig the camera at all or fly it I would get the new micro. The pocket has terrible battery life and the batteries don't hold charge well at all in storage. I...

    GoPro Class Action Lawsuit Developing

The lawsuit is a fairly typical securities class action. They get filed routinely when a stock price drops, and many don't survive -- just the class action plaintiffs bar doing what it does. As for GoPro, I think they failed to get beyond their initial innovation of packing existing tech into a...

So how do yall feel about drones flying over your property?

My favorite excuse for this sort of rude behavior (apart from "you don't own the air over your land" -- as if we were talking about a commercial airliner at thousands of feet in altitude) is the "my wide angle camera can't make out your wife/daughter very well, so don't worry about it".

So how do yall feel about drones flying over your property?

Completely and totally against it without my permission. I would never fly over someone else's property without permission. Obviously what is legal and commonplace is another thing. Just this week some guy came up to my door (and up my very private 300 yard driveway) to offer me an absolutely...

FAA Announces Small UAS Registration Rule

That's interesting. Do you know if this process requires registering as an individual, or can one register as a corp?

FAA Announces Small UAS Registration Rule

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2015/12/14/drone-registry-faa/77275676/ But, it's just a harmless and simple little registration system. It's only $5. Well, unless you fail to comply. But these fine public servants don't really want to put you in prison for 3 years. Not at all. Really. I'm...

FAA Announces Small UAS Registration Rule

Apart from this being useless (nobody intending harm will register; those just being stupid likely will be ignorant of the registration requirement), a first step of many likely incremental controls, and a waste of time and resources, my primary concern is that this process gets us on "the list"...
