An expensive solution for duck under is 2 grey pvc pipes (they flex more than white pvc) and just purchase the flag part ($15 each) of the feather banners...

With 6 poles, we came up with different flying configurations that are suitable for all styles of racing (rotorcross / grand prix). This could easily fit inside a soccer field. Some are for blade-to-blade and some are for timed events.

As for materials, as Matwelli mentioned, you can make your own arrows. Feather banners go for $30-$125, so you would have to rule them out. I have tried 10' tall PVC with leds at our last indoor event (along with feather banners). Like pool noodles anything less than 12" wide is hard to see...

The dual rate issue could be accomplished with 2 different profiles in the naze, but I like to keep as much on the tx so I can do field adjustments easily and also get voice alerts. So I use 1 naze profile and let the tx...

Woah. You are correct. It was NOT soma. My bad. That data came from Mustang. My apologies to soma and I have edited the source. I would imagine the data came from the first batch of v2 motors that had all the quality control issues. Again, apologizes to soma. I have not found any thrust data by...

Most people only use half of their stick throw which forces them to be very precise and that creates slower times. Perhaps we have a terminology problem. You want more stick movement (stick resolution) for racing, not less. You do this by first setting up your FC and radio for acrobatic...

Hmm. I got my data from Mustang (not soma!) I will summarize DYS 1806 vs Sunnysky 2204. For more info, google "Thrust Test DYS1806" and "Thrust Test Sunnysky 2204". DYS BE1806 2300KV Brushless Motors: HQ 5040 Prop - 440 Grams pulling 10.6A @ 100% / 225 Grams pulling 4.2A @ 50% SunnySky X2204S...
