Hi Mombasa The ali plate show in teh pictures is plenty stiff i think its 2mm thick! The problem is its too wide and heavy. I want to replace it with some 10mm alumninum channel. I am more concerned about the actual carbon boom twisting than the aluminium plates twisting. I may shorten them...
