Cinemizer OLED with GetFPV goggle mod and HDMI adapter. These are great goggles and I would keep them if it wasn't for the three others sets of goggles I have. In good working order and ready for Connex ProSight HD setup or there is 1/8 mini plug in for standard AV.

This is a known problem with little bee escs, they utilize a smd capacitor that is not up to the job. The voltage spikes happen when a motor is abruptly stopped during a crash. My suggestion would be to put a cap on the power input of the vtx, as they seem to be most susceptible to these spikes.
you do realize that a construction crane fell in Manhattan the same day and killed someone and no arrest were made for that. perhaps we are worried a little to much about a small drone that is more than likely never going to cause any serious harm or injury
Once again a harmless 2lb phantom, this is a total non story. Let's arrest the guy who causes no damage or injury simply because of anti drone hype. But crash a crane and kill someone and you won't be arrested.
Hopefully the FAA will come to its senses and require full scale pilots to fly while being able to see 360 degrees around the aircraft. I know I would feel safer if the next time I'm on a commercial flight the pilot was actually following behind a 1000 feet so he or she could see the entire...
Well that is why I stated a smaller custom rig with a Connex and a gopro (probably modified) or a small mirrorless such as a Sony RX100. If you look at the pix of their setup they were flying a Prosumer camcorder and a Connex for downlink so it was not like they were carrying an Alexa mini with...
Have you ever had your hands on a Phantom? That video is nothing but entertainment and proves little if not nothing and if we are discussing something a serious as safety I would think someone with your knowledge of these machines would understand that posting a video of a multi cutting up...
The real question for me is why they didn't use a much smaller system when doing something like this. Everyone complains about the DJI Phantom crowd (I'm not a big DJI fan myself) but I'll give credit to DJI for making a fairly capable quad that is light, has a somewhat break away hull, and...
