Retired after a career in the tower construction/maintenance industry. 3 yrs ago became ill with a rare illness called Guillian Barre Syndrome. Went from upright, ornery and mean to unconscious and total paralysis in 6 hours. Coma for 2 weeks and unconscious for another 2 months. Hospitalized for 10 months. I learned quickly what was important in my life--my faith in God, my wife and my family.

I am a BMW motorcycle enthusiast and have one that's been sitting since May of 2010--sadly I think riding again is not in my future.
