Lifelong (almost) Kansan. From 1943 to 1971 I flew almost everything I could fit my butt into, and walked away from every return to earth unscathed. Then I grew cautious and restricted my piloting to RC; alas, every landing was followed immediately by policing the runway for FOD control. Then recently, as an 87th birthday present I gave myself an AR Drone. EUREKA !; uneventful landings. So now a new interest and recovered self respect.
