Hoverfly Hit a tree, broke a prop and still made it home.

Hello All,


like the title says, I ended up hitting a tree, breaking one of the props and it still make it home :eek:


The video has no stabilization and the vibration in the gopro does not actually show how much vibration was actually going on. My FPV cam was almost useless.


I always though that any flight control board could not handle that much vibration but the hoverfly sport didnt seem to mind the vibration, just the busted prop

Nice one, impressive you were able to stay airborne! I've hit plenty of trees in my day and have only been able to stay in the air a couple of times. Definitely a testament to the HF controller!

Wow, that was really impressive! You definitely must have a good thrust-to-weight on that quad! I bet if I lost half a prop on my disco, not enough margin to even keep it in the air.

I was also really impressed that the Gopro didn't have more jello with those vibes. How are you mounting it?
