Hello Everyone,
I am new to the forum and Multirotor for that mater. I would like to return to the RC hobby after being out for just under 24 years. All my radios are pre-1991. I am not up to speed on Li-Po batteries, Brushless motors or ESC's. I had a .60 size glow fuel powered Schluter Heliboy back then. I would like to get back in with a quad. Nothing fancy. I want to go with separate components rather than a kit or RTF from some manufacturer. The controller I think I have decided on is this one from HobbyKing. For the frame I thought about this BumbleBee Folding Aluminum one I found on Amazon. As for motors ESC's and batteries I'm lost. I could use advice on these. I would like for it to be able to carry up to a pound payload. Once I learn to fly it I will be adding a camera. I have a camera module from a high end surveillance camera. Also I will use a video transmitter and custom camera control & power board. So any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

I am still testing battery sizes. My darn battery weighs more than my quad, but I can fly for 18 minutes.
