Is the IOC worth using on a 2 position switch. I only have "off" position and "Home Lock" position. Another question is what do people use the IOC for?

I use Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC) to extend my line of sight flying. I don't have to worry about which way the craft is facing at increased distance. I've flown my craft line of sight until it was just a dot on the horizon and then brought it back. I won't use it if I'm flying close range and can see the orientation of the craft. My three position switch is OFF, IOC, and Point of Interest on my Futaba Super 8FG.

I only have one 3-way position switch on my Spektrum DX7 so I don't think that the IOC will be much use t me.
