camera wiring question?

I have a 690TVL Ultra WDR Pixim SEAWOLF HD CCTV Mini Camera 2.8mm Lens OSD and am trying to wire this up to my txv582x 5.8ghz 200mw tx. I'm not getting a picture on any channel.

I cut the plugs off of their cable and soldered it up to the cable supplied from my vtx like this;

camera vtx

red red

braded cable
around the red black

yellow yellow

gray (audio?) white not connected (audio 6.0mhz)
not connected
green not connected (audio6.5mhz)

Power is supplied directly from a 3s 850mah battery.

What am I doing wrong?
Is the grey from the camera cable a video ground and not a audio, like I assumed? If it is a ground, where do I connect to to the vtx?

Ahhh, ok, there IS a copper shield around the yellow video cable that I did not see when I cut the plug. Do I also solder this shield to the black cable from the vtx?

Confirmed the grey wire on the 4-pin connector to the camer is a video ground. Where do I connect this video ground to?

Never mind, had my head up my rear end. What can I say, it's warm up there.

For those enterrested, the two grounds from the camera get attached to the ground wire from the reciever. That much I know.

My problem is,,,,
I'm never going to attach to my AIO goggles using the vtx I'm using!

I had to order a new vtx reciently and ordered the wrong damn one,,,
