Mikrokopter Updating firmware

I've been having all sorts of issues after about a year of everything going very well.

So I thought I'd update the firmware in the following order:

Navi-Ctrl - 28o
MK3Mag - 23a
Flightctrl - 88n

The navi updates no worries, but when I get to the MK3Mag it only transmits about 50-60% of data before it throws up an error. I have tried about 10 times and gets to different stages in the data transfer but always comes up with an error.

Can someone please tell what the trick is here to get it working again.

Thanks

It's hit or miss (mostly miss) trying to update the Mag board while it's installed in the stack. The only way I've found to reliably do the firmware update on the MK3Mag is to connect directly to the Navi with nothing else but the Mag connected to it, or solder a set of header pins to the Mag board and do the update directly.

Thanks Ken,

You are right. I found that disconnecting the FC, I was able to update the Navi and Mag board. Then reconnected the ribbon cables to update the FC.
