A little background first.

This is my 3rd fpv flight using my Hexa. I'm using a 200mw vtx and cloverleaf antenna. I've had a hand full of flights with my f450 and fpv, all ending with disaster due to having an fy91q fc, ( what a GIANT POS ). Ended up damaging my 500ctx, thus the 200mw vtx.

I had just completed a record breaking distance flight, for me, and was extremely suprised at the distance and quality of the video transmission.

yikes.. so it could have been worst.. in my eyes, it was not a "disaster", but I agree not fun having to rescue it.

It could have been way worse, for sure. I took my old eyes off the monitor to check altitude of the Hexa and by the time I focused back on the monitor I was looking directly into a wall of green!

I had to go home, get my ceiling light bulb remover pole and tied a rope loop on the end to snag a boom and bring it down, all the time surrounded by wasps, which I'm allergic to. Fortunately, they left me alone.

I couldn't believe my luck, not even a nick on a prop!
