cinestar 360 gimbal - batteries and MK Flight Control?

Hey all,
After crashing my Okto XL, I´ve finally built my cinestar frame and am ready to fly today.

Now I need to get the 360 gimbal working.

I have several questions I hope you can help me with:
  • how do I power the separate MK Flight Control for the gimbal without the power board? Connection?
  • how do I best connect the video downlink (ifrontech nano stinger) to the batteries. Is it possible via the flight control?
  • What battery would you suggest. Most seem to use 3s - but how much power do gimbal and downlink really use. I´d prefer it rather lightweight so as small as possible.
That´s it I guess. Can´t wait to get it all in the air.
Thanks in advance,
Wolfgang

you power the fc directly on the larger + and - pads on the fc board, use a 3 cell lipo

power the iftrontech directly from the 3 cell also, it has a wide input range.

I notice that my 3 cell 2100 battery runs about 6 flight battery packs(5000mah)(5minute flights)

its nice how their still are no instructions from free flight and quadrocopter.

Hi and thanks a lot for your detailled reply.
Yeah, the instructions from freefly regarding the frame are OK, but for the rest you are pretty much left alone. I guess they want to sell RTF rather than kits. I´d expect some Kopter Tool settings for an empty cinestar with 360 gimbal and standard battery pack too to save some time calibrating the system.
Anyway - thanks to people like you, there is still a chance to get the syste
