I thought this was kinda cool. Someone from a Facebook multirotor group i'm on posted it.

HDMI converter that is already stripped down and made to mount on Droidworx landing gear.

Kilby, nice install but $250 for it seems a bit steep when the board costs about $40. (http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Composit...DBP0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334245287&sr=8-1). Pull the board out of the case and make a mount to the cross bars. Buy a recom to drive 5 volts to the board. Maybe I'm missing something but....

I was actually thinking the same thing, but I figured someone here might enjoy seeing it. If nothing else, it can give you a good idea about how to make your own.

Remote you are correct that the base board doesn't have a recom. Think I paid $5 or so for a RECOM brand from www.digikey.com where I get a lot of those type of parts. So $45 vs $250.
