Hi folks,
I was hoping to just get someone to check my custom motor mixer. It's for a slightly different octo as you can see in the prop rotation diagram.
It's a V8 as opposed to a I8 so there are no motors on the pitch or roll axes. Hence the 40% values on the motors closest to the axis. I chose 40% because those motors are about 40% of the distance from the axis to the outer motors.
Is that how it works?
I also just needed to make sure I didn't slip up with the other figures before I fly with it.
