Hello everyone,

As this would be my first build and I like to put things together and get them working myself so I will not be getting a RTF kit. For this build I want to achieve minimum cost in order to minimize the learning expenses. Consequently, I have not chosen the best parts, but parts that I think will get me off the ground for the least money. I would like to get some feedback on possible alternatives, if such are available. So here goes my shopping list:

01. Frame: x525 V3 Fiberglass - 60 USD;
02. Motors: A2212 930kv - 55 USD for 4 motors;
03. ESC: Hobbywing Pentium 30A - 48 USD for 4 ESCs;
04. Program card: for Hobbywing Pentium - 14 USD;
05. Propellers: 10x4.5 and 8x4R - 23 USD for 11 CW and CCW pairs;
06. Propeller balancing stand: Magnetic - 23 USD;
07. Radio: HobbyKing HK6DF 2.4Ghz FHSS Tx and Rx - 27 USD;
08. Control board: HobbyKing V2.1 board - 15 USD;
09. USB Programming tool: USBasp AVR Programming Device - 5 USD;
10. Wattmeter: HobbyKing HKP1HV 100Amp - 28 USD;
11. Li-Po low voltage alarm - 7 USD;
12. Other wires, connectors, leads, etc. - 30 USD;

Total: 335 USD;

I would like to hear your opinions on the HobbyKing V2 board, especially from people who have tried it. Also if I have missed something please let me know, every advice would be much appreciated. :)
