What a stupid 4rse!

I have just finished a brand new build (pics will be up soon!!) I have totally rebuilt the hexa on a new airframe, it looks the mutts nuts. So after a painstaking build, flashed up the new 4.22 firmware on the WKM, re-measured the X Y Z co-ords from scratch and took it in the garden to have a quick test flight. I powered it up and as soon as I gave it a bit of gas, it took off and flipped over, taking a nice big gouge out of my shin with a prop, smashed 3 props, bent a few bits...bugger.

The reason? I told it that the IMU was pointing backwards, where it is actually pointing forwards. Lesson learned :(

Ouch! Well, it could have been worse, right? - I mean, only three props broken - that's good, isn't it?

Yeah, it could have been worse. The props were pretty cheap anyway. It's just the fact that I haven't even flown it yet and it's had its first crash already!

Bart, I think yours would be a lot worse than mine, a plastic prop has nothing on a chainsaw!

if it's any consolation i almost hit myself in the forehead with a T-rex 100 today while flying in the family room. i had it flying off to my right and it came zooming sideways towards my head before I could regain control. very fun though for indoors flying.

Sorry Bart, almost isn't good enough. You have to actually injure yourself to make it count, and you get double points if it was your fault :)
