adhesive question

simple one, but can't figure it out.

How are you guys getting the LED strips (the ones with the 3M adhesive strip) on the back to stick to the arms? Mine keep popping off.

I thought about using a glue gun or a little superglue, but don't want to make a mess of anything, especially if it's not going to work well.

Figured I post up here to see what you guys are doing. I also don't want to put a dozen extra zip ties on if I don't have to.

I just use some strategically placed drops of CA. But like you said, make sure they will work for you before you commit with CA. Why not use zip ties to test proof of concept? Then permannetly affix them once you're satisfied.

I clean the points of contact with some rubbing alcohol. I have never had any problem with them coming off. I fact I find it a bit of a pain to get them off when I need to change them for some reason.
