Retractable Landing Gears for Custom Frames

I would like to know if there is an economical option to have a retractable landing gear

Copter weight 10-11Kgs

Options I have are very expensive but very reliable. Are there better options than the ones I have mentioned below?

1) Droidworks Skyjib V2 with quick release
Very good but at the base the structs(Which touch the ground) are snap fits and went lose in few months
2) S800
Will it handle 10-11kg load?

There are a number of DIY videos on YouTube on how to build retracts for multirotors using inexpensive servos from Hobby King. They look pretty solid and reliable.
