Tarot ZYX-GS RISC trigger for canon

Hey Guys
Been lurking here forever

Has anyone got one of these triggers and how does it work? I cannot get it to trigger my Canon 5d Mii or MIII. Am I missing something?

And sorry I am not super technical so take it slllloooooowwwww

Yup.

So basically I use gaffer tape to stick it in front of the IR sensor of the camera and to block out the sunlight as changes in light can also trigger it. Then the camera needs to be set on its timer function ie 2sec or 10sec but it does actually respond immediately

It is not a bad trigger, but actually found some place in Turkey that sells it with the actuall plug for canon. Cant find the link anymore. I need to order one. That will be by far the better option than the IR

Did you ever get around to being able to step me through risk module? I'd greatly appreciate it. I can set up FPV i just dont know how to activate shutter with camera.
