Newcomer to Multirotors

Hello All,
I'm new to multirotors but have had rc heli's on and off for over 25 years.I'm also just getting into fixed wing.
I've just bought a second hand Blade 350 QX (£200) and Nilox FoolishSport Cam (£99.99 which I thought was cheap).
I'm hoping to use it to film other fixed wing models flying.
I am also thinking of building one from scratch but as yet know nothing about them,hence coming on here
I look forward to participating in some discussions etc.
Oh yeah I forgot to add I'm in the UK (Lancs)
