Problems binding FrSky to Futaba T8FG Super

Before I start I should point out that I'm a newbie and presently participating in Bartmans beginners group build.

As indicated in the instructions, I held the button down on the TFR6 while powering it on and the LED immediately went to solid green.
However the radio and receiver obviously aren't talking to each other as the Naza led is blinking yellow and the Naza software cant see the radio.
I guess that something needs to be changed on the radio and today Ive spent a lot of time reading the manual and on the net looking for the answer but cant find it.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Best to test with a servo to see if the radio Tx and Rx are bound, relying on the Naza software to be connected may give false impression that it is not working because the Naza USB driver may not be installed correctly.

Do you get solid green on the Naza LED when you plug the USB cable in? If you do it does not mean that the link is actually working properly.

The solid green LED is from the FrSky after I try to bind it.

I also have a F550 with exactly the same Naza controller.
When I take my Futaba receiver from my F550 and put it on the quad I'm building everything works fine.
Conversely when I put the FrSky receiver on my F550 I have just the same problem as I do with the new build.
I deduce from this that the Tx and Rx are not bound.

I am using the same Rx with a 14SG, make sure that you do not also have a red light at the same time as the green, means it is not bound.

Does the green light flash twice when you try and bind?

When I apply power to the Rx and try to bind it, the green light comes on almost immediately. There is a red light on for a fraction of a second which blinks once and then goes off.
So I am left with a solid green light

Think I can see the problem.
The FrSky model I have doesnt have an s-bus port like the Futaba receiver
That would be it wouldn't it?
I might just bite the bullet and buy another Futaba Rx unless anyone knows a work around.
Told you I was a newbie didn't I?

Correct, they are a non S-Bus Rx, I had assumed that you would have it set to traditional wiring.

I also have a TFr4, this Rx will do PPM and work with the Naza, very simple install.

All the FrSky Fast Rx'ers should work fine, the problem is that for some reason this one does not appear to be binding up correctly.
