Standart spec I6 with Super X are comparable stable to a high spec X8 with WKM, during testing in high wind.(25 kph+ with many crosswinds)
WKM : need to dial to hit the sweet spot( depend on load it carry)
Super X : straight out of the box/standart set up.
Smooth atti. mode

The only drawback from Super X is no course lock/heading lock, I need those for emergency situation. I hope they will upgrade firmwire with it

Does anyone has experience dialing super X with heavy rig?

I hope they do as well. I think those would be great features to add and make the FC market even more competitive.

What camera are you flying with those set ups?

What ? Mag hold is on in the GPS Attitude mode by default (that is my definition of "course lock"). Shoots straight as an arrow. Actually, I think it's on in Attitude mode, too, but the importer says no. Sure flys mighty true this way too, hmmmm.

Depends on what you define as "heavy". My 1000 is running light at present with no cam or gimbal. Weighs 12 lbs in this configuration. If so, yes, crank the gains up-up-up. I'm presently at 1.7 and sometimes dial in more on the radio when flying. No trace of shudder indicating a non-stable loop condition. Just gets smoother and smoother. AH and Yaw are at 0.9, seems to be the best compromise.

Vulcan 1050mm Octo 24lbs and counting. Very nice response with SuperX.
800mm Hexacrafter hex loaded with 9lbs of payload at 21 lbs, flew great,
RC Rotors 1050mm Hex with 3 axis and Gh3--- around 22lbs, flys amazing smooth and handles wind 25 mph + no issues.
