So...I have been building a new Y6 hex that is displaying an odd behavior. With the default motor idle speed settings, the motors do not spin at all after arming until I raise the throttle to 50%.
In the motor settings, I can raise the idle speed. After maxing out the idle speed, the motors behave the way that I would expect: After arming, the motors spin up...from 0-50% throttle, no change is made to the motor speed, but at 50% throttle the motors spin up enough for liftoff.
But...with the 'recommended' idle speed? No movement at all after arming.
Should I be concerned about the lack of movement at 'normal' motor idle speed? Is this indicative of ESC mis-calibration or some other problem? Thanks.
