forgot to say, flying hard sideways (30-40 deg) the vtq (Vtail Quad) dosent drop its bum, the vtail forward most rear prop is near horizontal, providing more lift, and the rearmost prop is near verticle, pushing in the direction of flight :)

It goes nearly as well as my tri...

Almost enough for me to stop developing my hex... almost. I might have to play with one of these and see if I can make a collapsable Vocto frame (no... not crashing it...). The clarity or orientation is damn good... Well done mate :D

@pete, thanks mate

Now i had a flash of inspiration, on the folding.

if the front cross arms (currently angled forward) worked suficiently ok at right angles (mirror the rear cross arm that goes from one side to the other) then you could cut and bolt them in the centre, that way both motor rails would swing back and in ! total size folded would be 300 wide and 650 or so long and could fit into a box

That is what I came too (during morning tea) too.

Too many projects. I'll get the hex going properly and look at this later... but it is damn good :D

btw - Flycam board is on the courier to Rotovegas...
now it's work time...

I'm having a break this week. We've had visiters (come and gone) and I've been living multi's day and nite... and the missus is getting... well... it is cold over here :( Time to keep married... I'll ease back into the shed in a few days...

Add that to being called back into work for 6 hours tonight. Not good.
