Hi All
Well I was on my third flight when one of the black DJI 10" props came apart . It was when I was coming down and gave it a quick punch just off the ground
and their it went. Thank GOD only 5 or 6 feet in the air Damage to GPS stand and that was about it. I did some research and found I am not the only one to have this
problem with DJI props. Needless to say I will not be using them again. I have a standard DJI F450 wheel. What make of 10"/3.8 props do most of you use and if you would be so kind as to send a link to where I may purchase them would very much appreciated
Thanks.... Will
I am a newbe so need all the help I can get ...Thanks

Change then out for 10" graupners.. I have some coming in if you are interested. Cheaper then the ones on eBay.

I have been using the Hobby King props for about a year now. Little to no balancing required and they are super inexpensive. Some people don't like them but they work great for me. Very tough and cheap. After you get more proficient you can get some CF or wooden props.

I use RCTimer carbon fiber props and love them. They are a bit more expensive, but I haven't had any problems with them. I tried the DJI props and had the same issue that you and others have had. I have had my octo fall over when landing in the grass and the props just dug a grove in the lawn, and the other day I got a bit close to a tree and one of my props hit a branch, SMALL one, and the branch was cut through, but the prop didn't break or have any visible damage. Best of all it didn't crash! Needless to say I did have pucker factor though.

Where did you get them CDA and how much did they cost? I'm done with Hobby King so I won't buy from them they have $228 of my money since August and I'm still waiting for my Fat Shark.

I got my props from, rctimer.com. I'm not defending Hobby King, but I waited 5 weeks for my Fatsharks. I know yours is a bit longer, but backorders can be a little annoying. Send them a inquiry and see what they say. I haven't had any problems with them myself.

There is another thread on this forum that is talking about props. You might look at: readymaderc.com they have, tiger props, which might work for you. It's worth a look.
