someone just told be he upgraded his motors to LOK ones but had to buy new escs as the DJI ones wouldn't work with the new motors (something about poles?)

does anyone know if there are motors the DJI escs won't work with? are these DJI escs considered any good?

I want to upgrade my dji motors to (probably) T-Motor MN3110-26 470kv on 6s - am I gonna need new escs or will the dji ones work?

edit - just look at the wiki dji page and it says these escs are 3s-4s only.

anyone used them with 5s or 6s??

We have many clients that are upgrading from a F550 and wish to use the DJI 30 OPTO ESC to save on costs.
Many are using them with the Avroto 2814 770kv or T-Motor MT-2814 770kv motors with excellent results.
They are a 4S ESC maximum.
When clients what to go to MT-3510 700kv, we have found the DJI esc are undersized. Again 4S.
We are currently recommending the Maytech Eagle series ESC 40 A or 60A.

These are excellent ESC and will get you to 6S if you need.
I hope this helps.
