GPS Antenna Height

I'm just wondering which rod most of you are using for the GPS Antenna Height. Is it better to use the tallest or keep a lower profile with the middle to short.

Easy? You call that easy?
Up to you. I use the short one I think. As long as its away from other electronics you'll be fine. My Naza one is very short for transport and some people just strap the GPS disc straight on the frame or arms. Coolio?

My gps is mounted directly on the arm, overlapping the top plate. It rests atop a copper foil rfi shield which itself is grounded. The copper shield serves the same purpose as the stalk. In Naza assistant the Z value in the placement screen is set to 0. From the beginning, when I was deciding what multirotor to buy, the gps placed high up on that flimsy stalk bothered me. I didn't want it.
