Answer: Damn near anything. Will they? I doubt it. The competition would be down their throat in seconds. And the open source crew, as well. For them, since there's no legally definable entity, it's wide open. Note that DJI is the only manufacturer to do anything of this nature so far. Also, we'll never know if this was a government mandated thing, or what. Interesting that, to date, no other Chinese manufacturer has announced this kind of thing.

His answer was right: Damn near anything. ANYTHING. They could be programmed that on a certain date, they all "attack" their users (fly at high speed through "home" location).

Not to be a fear monger, but you asked.
