Hi!

have someone tried the new (?) Graupner eprop 9x5 on the F550? How do they compare to the 10x5?
I am thinking to use a 4S battery. Any comments?

4S should use 9x5 really, 10x5 will make your motors and ESC get hot, in turn making your flight times less.

Buy a prop reamer, or have someone do them for you.... You can buy them already reamed for the dji shaft, but a word of advice as many around here would give you.... Buy nylocks, get rid of the acorns and buy spacer washers. Some DJI motors threads are not cut deep enough and your prop will either turn or will work loose because of this. Not too good while in flight as you can imagine, best be safe then sorry.

Here is a couple of links..
Prop spacers, reamer can be found here https://www.gothelirc.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=156&cat=Graupner+Props if you need either 10 or 9" props, I got mine from here http://team-blacksheep.com/products/product:122 for $30 for 2 CW and 2 CCW and they are in stock.

Hi Fanch, I use the graupner 10" on my F550, have done right from the start (after initial testing with 8") with 4S 5000 & 6000mAh battries works very well and no need to bore or ream anything. If you have nothing attached to your F550 like landing gear, gimbal, camera etc. then the 8" or 9" are good, but as soon as weight is increased (mine 2.45kg) you need 10" Graupners' (I use stock motors and they just get hand warm after 10 to 12 minute flights).
