Maker Camp: Building a quad with the kids

I thought I would share a little something we put together for the summer. My wife and I were invited to work with Maker Camp in Baltimore this year. We designed a 2 week workshop for high school kids to learn the fundamentals of multi rotor flight, design and piloting. There will be flight simulators and lots of demos for them to learn how to fly, as well a guided build of a micro quad. The facility has a Replicator 2, so we are going to print the quad frame and let the kids play with it's design in Autodesk Inventor. The kids will be building something based on this design here... http://www.rctutor.org/3d-printed-micro-h-quadcopter.html

We will be keeping a build log of their experience, so I can post links here if anyone is interested.
