Gopro video recovery

What are you using these days for recovering video from your GoPro? I dropped mine while still recording and can't open the file. It happened to me awhile back by powering off the unit while still recording. I've done some poking around the internet and have ran the perl script solution, which actually works, but with no audio and it cuts off the last 15 or 30 seconds of the video file. Any takers? I've also used Steller Phoenix but it doesn't detect video only pictures and audio.

If the file has not been finalised you should be able to place the card back in the GoPro and turn it on, the GoPro should ask if you want to fix the file.

Try reformating your sd card. Of course, that will erase your file but at least it should work fine again afterward.
