Hoverfly GPS antennaquestion .. urgent

Hi,
I recently installed a "3DR GPS "module received from HFT and just tried the GPS in the field..nothing work!! no pPH at all, no return home etc..;
I'll redo all the calibration but before i wonder if there is a way to mount the "new" packaging for the antenna; I mean the GTPA010 has a white dot in one corner. Should it be in the front direction of the craft (i monted it 90° CCW to have the connector in the better place for the setup..)
Please help, it's urgent!
Thanks
Alain

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Alain,

I've been told that the GPS can be mounted anywhere and that there isn't a specific orientation for it. Are you sure the GPS antenna is plugged into the correct port on the GPS board?

Hi Bartman,
Looks like it was probably a bad compass calibration afterall. I didn't move the antenna which confirm what you say and what the support at HF told me.
I am just back from another try and it was ok that time (after redoing compass calibration).. I'll make some other test tomorow on or wednesday as tomorow may be windy...
Thanks!
Alain
