Hoverfly AH with Ver. 4.3.860

So I loaded ver. 4.3.860 as suggested but still my AH isn't working.
When engaging the AH the Green LED turns off and the motors are not reacting to Throttle changes anymore.

In the setup utility all seems to be OK: the Altitude Hold Enabled is checked when switching it on, and the altitude bar shows movement so the barometer seems to function.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, I can blow that up.
When you say it "isn't working" what exactly do you mean? Is it rising, falling etc? When you are in AH, the throttle does not directly control the motors. It tells the FC to change AH altitude either higher or lower.

I am turning AH on while on the ground with no props. Once I increase the throttle the motors turns on and stay on, the throttle stick has no control anymore until I turn AH off.

The green led should go off when you engage AH. It sounds like it is doing what it should be doing.
Have you previously owned a NAZA?, if so the HFP AH works differently. With the NAZA you can still climb and descend with the AH. On the HFP it simply holds altitude.
You need to try AH outside with the props on. Give yourself a decent amount of hieght, get your machine to hover at the height you want and then flick on AH. Be ready to turn it off if it doesnt react well.
BTW, Have you read the manual on how AH works?, it doesnt sound like you have.

HFP detects lift off. You can not test AH or AL on the ground. You must be in the air. If everything is ok in the setup utility go fly. Get your main gain dialed in first.
