Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal TILT not working properly...

Auto compensation is not working on my tilt axis. When I turn on auto compensation for the tilt axis, that axis becomes unresponsive. When I turn off auto compensation, the tilt axis becomes responsive to stick input as expected but obviously doesn't auto compensate.

Basically auto compensation mode doesn't work at all on the tilt axis.

The roll axis works as expected.

This is running firmware 1.9 on an AV200.

Dan at Hoverfly got me taken care of! Problem solved.

I had set the mounting wrong. The power plug was facing to my left, so I had entered FRONT LEFT. When I needed to set it as FRONT RIGHT because the power plug was pointing to the AIRCRAFT'S right side. User error. It happens.

That's nice to hear.

Do you have any roll / pitch coupling issues with 1.9 fw ? (when moving the gimbal forward or backwards I'm getting unwanted roll movement and vice versa)

By the way, love your work!

Regards,
Jim.

You can try it on the bench (motors off). Just move the gimbal forth and back and see if you are getting unwanted roll movement. I get this on fw 1.9 and it starts showing when the acceleration gains are over 100. It is really evident in acc. gains of 600 - 800. Could you please give it a try and let me know, if that's not asking too much?

Thanks,
Jim.
